Influence on modern practice
Deng shaped the national TCM curriculum and led the clinical argument for integrating TCM into China's SARS response, which in turn informed protocol design during COVID-19. His myasthenia gravis spleen-deficiency protocols are still trialled in Chinese hospitals.
